PARAGRAPH ON RALPH

99 Mary Street

Launch Event
Case study one is 99 Mary Street. They are a graphic design company based in Sheffield and recently promoted their now studio with a launch event. The event was not only to promote the company, but to help them re-invent themselves in their new, gentrified industrial workspace. The event accommodated 150 people and ran from 6:00pm until 9:30pm.

Funding
The launch event was self-funded by the company who treated it as an investment in the space. The budget was set at £3,000. This was to fund a combination of food, drink, staff and DJ equipment.

Target Audience
The target audience of the event was key professionals and decision makes from Sheffield's creative industry. The demographic also included social media buffs, companies promoting arts, general Sheffield-based artists, sponsors of the event and potential clients. These people were generally aged between 25 years old to 60 years old.

Health and Safety
Regarding health and safety, a risk assessment was carried out, cables were taped down, fire exits were clearly labeled and staff went through proper training. There was also a limited capacity of 150 guests.
